Gravel plant, Erkenbrechtsweiler: Arocs 1846 LS.

In numerous quarries of the Swabian Alb mountains, the base layers for road-building as well as stones for concrete and tarmac manufacturing are extracted.

The quarry at Erkenbrechtsweiler alone has a daily capacity of around 8000 tonnes. A truck with a star feels right at home here: when it comes to stability and load-bearing capacity, you can't get better than an Arocs Grounder. With its extremely solid frame made of high-strength fine-grained steel and multi-leaf parabolic springs, it's always on-hand for demanding operations in tough off-road terrain. Its rear axles additionally feature specially adjusted shock absorbers and stabilisers to ensure stable handling even under one-sided loads.
