As 54 % of you correctly guessed, the Truck Trophy final will take place in Scandinavia in spring 2017. More precisely, our finalists will be measuring their force in one of the newest RoadStars markets.

In order to make sure that our Truck Trophy finalists and all of you who will join us there can communicate with the locals, here are a few of the most important sentences for truckers in the local language:

You guessed it! The final of the Truck Trophy will take place in Europe during the spring of 2017. But where exactly? This week, we have again put together a little puzzle for you. Can you guess the region in which the final will take place in the spring of 2017?
At regular intervals, we will add a new gallery here which contains images from the respective region. If you think you've guessed which region we are looking for, select your answer in the survey below. In the comments, you can, of course, also start a discussion about which region we're looking for. On Friday we'll then reveal the region to you. After that, all that needs to be done is to find the specific country…
A wild and wonderful area.
Forests as far as the eye can see. Lakes as still as glass. The region we're looking for has lots of places that catch the eye. In which region could our finalists be enjoying the following sights?

The Truck Trophy final in the spring of 2017 will take place in a region in which you can also encounter rugged coastlines and beautiful beaches. In which part of Europe can you dip your feet so delightfully in the water?

Upon seeing the fjords at the very latest, 54 % of you managed to find the right answer. Thank you for taking part. But we're not quite finished yet: next week, you'll discover which Scandinavian country will play host to our Truck Trophy finalists.
Can you identify the continent in which the final of the Truck
Trophy will take place in Spring 2017? We'll release four puzzle
pieces one by one which show a country's map. These should help you
figure out which continent we will be in. Add your guesses in the
comments. What can you recognise? Which continent are we looking for?
After the four puzzle pieces and thus the continent have been revealed, the next round of the conundrum will start: you'll then have to guess the region. In the final round, you'll be looking for the country in which the final of the Truck Trophy 2017 will be held in Spring 2017.
First piece of the puzzle: where could it be?
The continent we're looking for has one of the busiest road networks in the world. Here you can see an example: a motorway or expressway covering more than 600 km across the width of the country from West to East leads through a capital city at the position shown here. Important trade routes from times gone by lead through this country in the eastern part of the continent with around 39 million inhabitants. Can you figure out which continent the piece of puzzle depicts?
Second piece of the puzzle: can you guess the answer?
Two countries on the continent that we are looking for are separated at this point by a canal that is 500 km long and on which 400 ships travel daily. A world record lies hidden beneath the water surface. The continent which is home to this canal will also host the final of the Truck Trophy in 2017. Have you an idea what we're looking for?
Third piece of the puzzle: a mystery!
Here you can see a very small country which is part of the continent we are looking for. In this mountainous country there is no motorway and only about 200 kilometres of tarmacked road. If vehicles meet on a steep road, the vehicle travelling uphill has right of way. It is the only country in the world in which two foreign office-holders are head of state at once. On which continent do you think you would find a country like this?
Fourth piece of the puzzle: the last clue…
The continent we are looking for has many extreme places. For example the following: north of the 30 km long headland shown, which is known simply as "branch" in the national language, two seas meet; their waves crossing each other. Up here there are no tarmacked roads; only tractors drive tourists to the tip. Did the last clue help you to guess the continent on which the final of the Truck Trophy will take place in the spring of 2017?
