Ice tracks, snow, top trucks, first-class driving: the kick-off is very soon. The final of the Truck Trophy 2017 will be held in Sweden. Twelve drivers who have qualified for the final round with impressive performances over the last few months are now ready to rumble.

3 days, 14 tasks.

Starting on Tuesday, participants will be fighting to win the Truck Trophy 2017 in a total of 14 tasks which require above all the characteristics courage & strength, skills & analytical thought as well as team spirit. At the same time the drivers will be confronted with extraordinary conditions. In February, the temperatures at Sorsele in Lapland, the event's venue, are always icy. But this will not deter our finalists. And it shouldn't restrict the fun of driving. This place – 100 kilometres south of the Arctic Circle – offers horse power fans, in particular, an indescribable experience. This is due to the sheet of ice across a frozen river on which kilometres of ice tracks make the dreams of drivers come true.

In order to win the Truck Trophy, participants must be prepared to go to their limit. In addition to the challenges at the wheel of a truck, other exciting and difficult tasks await the finalists.

Country teams in the pursuit of points.

In the national qualifying rounds for the final of the Truck Trophy, the drivers were fighting for themselves, but now in the final round, they must come together as a national team to gain points. The two best drivers from Switzerland, Belgium, Romania, the Netherlands, Poland and Germany are present. The truckers applied to participate in the Truck Trophy via RoadStars.

RoadStars reports daily.

The Truck Trophy isn't just excitement and adventure, it's an unforgettable time. After the final rounds in 2008 in Turkey and 2015 in Romania, the third final of the driver event will take place in 2017 - however in Scandinavia for the first time.

Over the coming week, RoadStars will be reporting daily on the final days in Sweden. So, stay tuned!
