The 2018 FIA Truck Race at the Hungaroring

Hungaroring: a successful home game for Mercedes-Kiss!

The season's second Truck Race was held at the Hungaroring, where everything revolved around one driver: Norbert Kiss! The Hungarian was frenetically celebrated by the racing fans and was able to reach the podium in several races with his Mercedes-Benz.

Best of Hungaroring.

Some serious smoke from the tyres! Located near Budapest, the narrow track and tight bends of the Hungaroring mean it is regarded as one of the season's most challenging race locations – hardly surprising when you think that the Ring was actually designed as a Formula One race track. Despite the tricky track, our drivers Steffen Faas and Norbert Kiss from the RoadStars-sponsored Tankpool24 team were able to pull off several overtaking manoeuvres, with Kiss reaching second place in the overall ranking. Accordingly, the atmosphere among Hungarian fans was superb, and local hero Norbert "Norbi" Kiss could hardly keep up with the flow of fans requesting selfies and autographs! Take a look at our video with highlights from the race at the Hungaroring.
