A new flagship, an exclusive special edition and plenty of entertainment – Mercedes-Benz Trucks welcomes the start of the 67th IAA for commercial vehicles.
The first glance falls on directly on the stage. One thing becomes clear instantaneously: Mercedes-Benz Trucks is putting on a truly impressive show for its visitors. The main focus of the exhibition stand is quite clearly the new Actros – several times a day, it's on the stage in the spotlight putting in a huge performance. But the Actros is more than just a looker – it's also the safest, most efficient and best-connected truck of all time. True to its slogan, it's all about "more safety for all road users".
Don't just stand there looking. Get involved.
Anyone who wishes to get up-close to this innovative truck can enjoy a very special opportunity in addition to the exhibition vehicles: in the Actros Experience Room, interested onlookers can find out more and experience the equipment in person. At various stations and in multimedia presentations, partially-automated driving with the Active Drive Assist system, the new Multimedia Cockpit and the innovative MirrorCam will be presented on the basis of exemplary driving situations on motorways, out of town roads and when manoeuvring.

See, feel and hear: visitors can experience the new Actros models best up-close and in person.
The new Active Drive Assist system can brake, accelerate and steer. The system delivers partially-automated driving for the first time in all speed ranges. Experience the system as part of the simulation in the Actros Experience Room in hall 14/15.
MirrorCam offers a much better all-round view of the vehicle and features two cameras mounted on the vehicle exterior and two 15.2" displays on the A-pillars of the cab. The system's function will be explained in detail in the Actros Experience Room in hall 14/15.
Multimedia Cockpit: the future-oriented interface between driver and vehicle can be experienced in the Actros Experience Room.
Exclusive Edition.
One of the highlights is, without a doubt, the Actros Edition 1. With the limited-edition special model, Mercedes-Benz Trucks is celebrating the debut of the new Actros. And there will only be 400 units produced. The focal point of the special model is the driver: an array of exterior extras and interior options provide drivers with the ultimate in comfort and safety. With its exclusive equipment and the limited production number, the Edition 1 will be a real eye-catcher – both at the exhibition and later also on the road.
Details such as the headlamp surrounds in titanium chrome lend the Edition One a unique character.
For comfortable driving, a leather steering wheel and a sound system are also on-board.
Four LED lights are integrated into the sunblind.
The contrasting front section around the radiator grille is in deep black.
As an optional extra, painted rims can also be ordered.
Steering wheel, door handles and the dashboard are all covered in black nappa leather.
Limited: only 400 units of the Edition 1 will be produced.
Strong community.
This year too, the Mercedes-Benz Trucks Community RoadStars will
also be making a stop in Hanover. The brand's logo which doesn't go
unnoticed at numerous events is the night-black RoadStars Show Truck.
For RoadStars and visitors who wish to join the community, a whole
host of surprises will be up for grabs, for example when spinning the
wheel of fortune.
Always worthwhile: a stop-off at the Driver's Inn.
A walk around any exhibition stand is only ever truly complete with a spot of music, a bite to eat and a cold drink from the Mercedes-Benz Driver's Inn. Experience the latest innovations from the truck world or meet up with some old friends – a visit to the Mercedes-Benz stand at the IAA for commercial vehicles is well worth it for anyone who feels at home behind the wheel.
At the IAA for commercial vehicles, the RoadStars Show Truck is always present wherever truck fans and truckers meet up.

The Actros with a special trailer is a true people magnet which brings together drivers, business owners, truck fans and specialist journalists alike.
