2020 “Great landscapes” calendar
Water, dams, uninhabited space – the Actros in south-west Finland.
Finland is the most forested country in Europe and one of the most
northern countries in the world, with one-third of its area stretching
north of the Arctic Circle. Hills and lakes shape the landscape in the
south and centre of the “Land of a thousand lakes” – a true
understatement, as Finland actually has 187,888 lakes.
Only around 5.5 million people live on the extensive space Finland has to offer. However, everything is still available virtually everywhere. To make sure that it stays that way, things are transported as efficiently as possible. The Finnish answer: 76-tonne road trains of up to 34 metres in length. Such trailer lengths are easy to handle with the MirrorCam. Good when the new Actros arrives.

Magnificent vistas of nature. Powerful lorries. On the road in the truck, with the windshield doubling as the silver screen. Unique landscapes are the side scenes, whether along country roads, motorways or somewhere else – far, far away. The main actor is the truck. It does its job with distinction. Its performance keeps everything running; it connects our lives. From Finland to Chile, from Portugal to Australia. Hence, the motto of the Mercedes‑Benz Trucks Calendar 2020 is “Great Landscapes”.

Fällt mir als erstes ein...
Ein Zufall, daß Andrea und Mike Kammermann gerade in Finnland aufgeschlagen sind. Vielleicht sehen wir mehr Bilder dieser Landschaft....

Schwarz-Weiss-Foto ist doch in der heutigen Zeit mal wieder etwas ganz besonderes fürs Auge des /der Betrachtenden*, vor allem wenns ein Photograph* richtig ins Bild gesetzt hat 😉😃
Man kriegt dadurch durchaus mal wieder einen Blick fürs Wesentliche ohne dass das Auge durch eine Farbenvielfalt "übermässig" strapaziert wird - mir gefällts👌
