Bertholt Weidner: Fascination of show trucks – countless hours of work, shiny paint …
Show Truck
… Chrome parts, airbrush, etc. These are just some of the things with which truck drivers transform a truck into their highly personal masterpiece. Certainly also required are a healthy dose of enthusiasm, plenty of dedication and a keen flair for precision work. Here at RoadStars, truck drivers have an opportunity to present their special show trucks to the entire community, thereby allowing everyone to share in this fascination. Thank you once again at this point to all those who have sent in photos.
A very special Christmas trucker – he has been making children's eyes light up for over 22 years …
… and that has often been after driving over rough tracks during dreadful weather conditions. Nurseries and schools in the community of Werneck will be collecting parcels for the Christmas trucker collection initiated by the Bavarian radio station Antenne Bayern. Last year I was able to distribute over 62,000 parcels to needy families in Eastern Europe. From 21 to 23 December this year, Christmas trucker Berthold Weidner, accompanied by Lisa Tatsch from the Cafe Bar Barossa at the Werneck truck stop, will once more be visiting over 45 schools and nurseries in the community to collect the presents. Berthold Weidner likes talking both about his experiences as a Christmas trucker when he gives excited children their parcels as well as about the poverty in which they live. Such moments are highlights in his Christmas season.
