Immense know-how, impressive trucks and an enthusiastic crowd – the 15th Deutschlandfahrt for historical commercial vehicles makes for great publicity all across Germany for trucking treasures.

60 vehicles, seven stages, 1200 kilometres: the "Tour of the
highlights“, as the event organisers of the Deutschlandfahrt called it
this year, was a convoy of trucking history. On the one hand it
allowed onlookers to reminisce about their childhood and daily work,
while on the other hand it left them astonished. The shape and
appearance of the trucks from times gone by were just completely
different to those we see today, and thus very new for some of the
younger spectators along the route.
