Silver show truck for the Krahwinkel haulage company

Vehicle & Technology

A gem in brilliant silver.

The Krahwinkel haulage company from Elsdorf has a "Silver Surfer" in its fleet. The Actros 1853 was modified with great attention to detail to be great both inside and out.

The workshop and haulage firm Krahwinkel in Elsdorf did a great job in designing the Actros as a show truck. All the black body parts were painted in brilliant silver, as were the mirror mounts, the windscreen bezel and the sun visor.

Even the protective windscreen grille stamped with Mercedes-Benz stars and the company name shine in brilliant silver. Every single nook and cranny shines in the new body colour.

The silver-coloured lamp brackets, four additional lights on the roof, chrome fins on the front and a stainless steel tube with LEDs under the bumper make the Actros look like a real gem.

As variety is the spice of life, there are also a few splashes of colour to be found on the truck, too. Among them, the logo in the illuminated box above the windscreen, the company logo on the door, the mats and the wheel hubs, which are all are blue.

Deluxe driving comfort.

Even the GigaSpace cab has also been seriously "pimped". The design took about eight weeks of labour to complete.

The door pockets, the underside of the upper bed and the floor covering in the middle section are all covered in white leather. Even the table is edged in this luxury material. This matches perfectly the seats' white topstitching.

The atmosphere-enhancing interior lighting is literally a highlight. Small red lamps predominate here.

They light up the bed frame box featuring the company's name and logo. Red LEDs also illuminate the area around the cab's sun roof.

This "Silver Surfer" makes dreams come true.
