The fastest route.

Even with the Actros, sometimes the road is not the shortest route.

The are many routes between Germany and Switzerland, but the one that is often the fastest while also being the most picturesque is across the water. On 365 days of the year, six ferries cross Lake Constance a total of 66,500 times. Every year, they transport 4.1 million people, 1.4 million passenger cars and 99,000 commercial vehicles between Konstanz and Meersburg. There are many years of tradition behind the 4.8 kilometre water crossing which was started in 1928. Hermann Maier Spedition KG from Singen is regularly on-board with their Actros.
