Even NASA doesn't get more precise than this.

This is how millimetre-precise quality control happens on the production line.

How do we measure and check our cabs? It's quite simple actually: “Looks about right. It'll do”.

Only joking! Even the most exacting of our colleagues equipped with a tape measure isn't enough to guarantee the continuous quality control of our trucks. Two sets of eyes can see better than one. And a hundred camera lenses and lasers can see even better than that. The production process can only continue if every single millimetre is precisely as it should be.

Was ich mich frage: ist das Werk wirklich noch das größte LKW Werk der Welt (Aussage in Teil I)? Gibt es in China nicht mittlerweile größere Werke?

Ich sehe Sie aus Russland fern, unglaublich so ein Pegel der Arbeitssorgfaeltigkeit kann man nicht in unseren Werken vorstellen, 
kein Wunder, dass Mercedes faehrt in GUS Laendern aber kein Kamaz in EU Laendern oder irgendwo noch

Der Bursche macht sich da wirklich einen Spaß draus... 14cm... hier auch... 😄😄.
Würde mich ja interessieren, welche Toleranzen tatsächlich erreicht werden. Ein Blechteil alleine ist schon so eine Sache. Mehrere, zusammengefügt - und das paßt... !
Ich denke da steckt viel mehr dahinter, als man als Beobachter erkennen kann.
