2019 Calendar “Elements”

Earth element: an extra portion of power – ideal for working in a quarry.

The most significant underground limestone deposits in Europe are located in the Dornap area near Wuppertal. Here, in the Bergisches Land, is the impressive Osterholz pit. There is a long history of mining this valuable raw material; it is used in agriculture, and in steel and paper manufacture. Indispensable for transporting the material out of the quarry: a robust, reliable and versatile truck like the Arocs 4145 AK. The all-wheel tipper truck is just made for the challenges that unmetalled, often very steep roadways in the quarry present. It also looks good when transporting limestone on highways or motorways.
