2020 “Great landscapes” calendar
Small bays, big cliffs, gigantic ocean – the Arocs in south-western Portugal.
Cape St. Vincent near Sagres, the most south-westerly point of the European continent – surrounded by only the Atlantic and the wonderful Algarve coast. Between the cape and Faro, the capital city of the region, are countless bays with fantastic cliffs.
This part of the coast is called Barlavento, which shelters the hills of the Serra de Monchique from the cold north wind. No wonder that it’s noticeably warmer here than just a few kilometres further north up the west coast. A preferred place settle down – the Arocs makes it possible.

Magnificent vistas of nature. Powerful lorries. On the road in the truck, with the windshield doubling as the silver screen. Unique landscapes are the side scenes, whether along country roads, motorways or somewhere else – far, far away. The main actor is the truck. It does its job with distinction. Its performance keeps everything running; it connects our lives. From Finland to Chile, from Portugal to Australia. Hence, the motto of the Mercedes‑Benz Trucks Calendar 2020 is “Great Landscapes”.
