Val d’Orcia, Italy: Actros 1845 LS.

Endless hills and soft light – the Actros in placid Tuscany.

Cypress-lined country roads wind their way across green hills, connecting farmyards nestled away in the shade of pine trees. Breathtaking beauty on the edge of fields with grapevines and olive trees that give away one thing: it isn’t just as pretty as a picture here, but people also work hard in this region.

Tuscany is one of the top farming areas for olive oil. Frantoio, Leccino and Morcone are just some of the native varieties. They grow in ideal soil and are often still harvested by hand. The result is outstanding quality. And fitting in this context is the Actros, collecting the aromatic oil from the mill to bring it back to the grower for bottling.
