North of Brasilia is Parque Nacional da Chapada dos Veadeiros with its unique wonders of nature. Entry is only permitted by guided tour. The GO-239 leads along the southern edge – with glorious views of the surrounding uplands. Just before Alto Paraíso de Goiás is Jardim de Maytrea (Garden of Maytrea). This place magically attracts people from the entire region and tourists from all over the world.
Whoever drives this way is usually aiming for Brasilia. The capital of Brazil is situated in the geographical heart of the country, and around four million people live in the metropolitan area. And providing them with supplies is no walk in the park, because the city was quite literally created from nothing, beginning in 1956. The entire supply chain had to be created from scratch. These days, most goods are still delivered over large distances. Good that you can count on the Actros.
